🏫The Youth Career Connections Summer Career & Life Prep Academy is open to all current middle school students (7th-8th) and high school students (9th-11th) attending a school in the districts of Anaheim Union, Fullerton Joint Union, Brea-Olinda and Placentia-Yorba Linda.
đź“ŁThe program features guest speakers from local businesses and organizations, career prep workshops, and industry site visits. These workshops are designed to help you build essential skills for future careers, part-time jobs, and internships. The program also provides opportunities to tour companies, improve interview skills, and explore various career fields.
đź’˛Students will earn a certificate and a $250 scholarship upon completion.

The annual OC Parks Summer Concert and Cinema Series returns!
Starting July 5, enjoy nine FREE concerts and nine FREE movies through Sept. 3. Celebrate summer with live music and family fun movies.
Concerts open at 5 p.m. with performances from 6-8 p.m. Visitors of all ages are welcome to attend. Films start at sunset.

Ted Craig Regional Park Resurfacing and Accessibility Improvements
When: April through May 2026
Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
OC Public Works will begin parking lot and sidewalk repairs, which includes parking lot resurfacing, slurry seal, re-striping, sidewalk repairs, and the installation of speed bumps. Temporary parking lot closures will be required during construction.
Visitors may experience limited or restricted access to sidewalks, pathways, and portions of the parking areas.
The park will also temporarily close during the slurry seal operation.
For public safety, signage, caution tape, and traffic control personnel will be present throughout the project area. Please follow all posted safety signs and instructions from on-site personnel when visiting the park during construction.
